Welcome to a cup of skills, my friend! Today we are gonna talk about how to make a wiggle effect on a shape or text in After Effects. So, let's get into it. At first i'm going to show you the easiest way to do this: let's create some text. Now, open the position property by pressing P on the keyboard. Hold alt button and press on the stopwatch. Here you need to write this function: wiggle(2,3); the first number means frequency, and the second one means amount. Press on the empty area and your expression is active now. If you start playing -- you'll see that the text is slightly moving - that is basically the wiggle effect by itself. You can always play with the numbers to create the effect you want. But I want to show you the 2nd way, when you can even animate the effect. At first - let's delete our previous expression. Go to effects panel and type in - slider. Drag it twice on your text layer or any other layer you want to create that wiggle effect. The first one - rename it to frequency, and the second one - to amount by pressing Enter. Now hold alt and click on the position stopwatch. Type in "wiggle(" with one bracket only. Hold this pi-quip and drag it to frequency slider. then type coma and use pi-quip again, but for amount. And the last one - close the main bracket. If you did it correctly, there shouldn't be any mistake. Now you have the ability to control your wiggle effect by using key-frames. It is extremely useful feature to know and I hope, that you like it! You can also make it look even more professional with the help of motion blur. So that's it for today's episode!
