There's one thing in particular that most coaches ignore, but that you need to keep in mind if you want to make money as a life coach. That one thing is solving a problem. Too many life coaches don’t get anywhere because they're marketing themselves as exactly that - a life coach. They tend to advertise their skills and training rather than the problem that they solve. The reason why this approach fails is because people aren’t looking for a particular set of skills. They’re looking for someone who can solve their problem. This is how to become a life coach and get paid for it: you find a specific problem you can solve, you market yourself around that problem, and then you build authority through the clients you have helped. You have a much better chance of becoming a successful life coach when you use this approach because this will allow you to stand out from competition. When you simply market yourself as a life coach without specifying the problem you solve, it doesn’t tell people whether or not you are right for them. Ultimately, structuring your services around a solution will make your business scalable and help you make money as a life coach. So there you have it. In order to learn how to become a life coach and get paid for it, figure out the problem you solve and create ads around it.
