As you may have seen on my most recent episode of Doomsday Preppers (or in my book Secret Garden of Survival), Osage Orange can be an effective "green fence" that can be a barrier or a perimeter fence that can keep livestock in, and predators (both 4 legged and 2 legged) out. They used this fence back in colonial times instead of barbed wire. It is extremely sharp, as you will see from what it can do to a tomato in this video. I also show you how to weave the branches to create a bigger, stronger, and more impenetrable fence.
