Ms. Mouza Mohamed Alabbar and her family are partnering with Habitat in Zambia since 2015. The Maanzi project aims to access safe and drinking water, improve health and wellbeing of the communities in Zambia. This is achieved through construction of water kiosks and water pumps/drilling boreholes; distribution of containers for transporting the water to homes, and education on water management. Taking into account the girls and women who are usually the ones responsible for collecting water, this project also ensures that they will have now more time to prepare for school and to learn, while the mothers have more time to take care of their children at home.
