Shark teeth occurs when a baby tooth/teeth and the replacement adult tooth/teeth are present in the mouth, in the same spot. Reasons for this could be lack of space for the adult tooth, which is larger in size compared to the baby tooth, and also, when the adult tooth is improperly positioned in the bone, and erupts in the wrong position. Spontaneous exfoliation of the baby tooth can occur, especially when extremely mobile. Early assessment is required for retained baby teeth, to prevent a possible malocclusion that may require orthodontic (braces) correction in the future. --------------------------- Let’s meet on Social Media: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/teethbits/ Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@teethbits --------------------------- Track: Hawaii — Scandinavianz [Audio Library Release] Music provided by Audio Library Plus Watch: https://youtu.be/j04RIIV-MXY Free Download / Stream: https://alplus.io/hawaii Thanks for watching!
