Here is a clear, practical, and exam-focused strategy to tackle the Quant section in RRB PO 2025 effectively, designed to help you score 30+ in 20 minutes: RRB PO prelims quant is all about speed, smart selection of questions, and maintaining accuracy. Since the exam pattern remains fast-paced with a mix of arithmetic, DI, and speed maths, you need a balanced plan that covers preparation, exam-time strategy, and question-wise approach. Preparation strategy: Build strong basics in arithmetic Cover topics like percentages, profit loss, ratios, averages, time work, time distance, simple interest, compound interest, mixtures, and partnership. Focus on conceptual clarity first, then learn shortcut variations. Practise 30–40 arithmetic questions daily. Improve speed maths Learn and revise tables up to 30, squares up to 40, and cubes up to 20. Master multiplication, addition, and division tricks. Work on approximation and calculation-based questions. Practise DI regularly Solve table DI, bar graph, line graph, caselet, and pie chart. RRB PO usually asks moderate-level DI. Practise sets that combine ratio, percent, and average concepts. Strengthen number series and quadratic equations Practise 10–15 questions of each daily. Focus on patterns like double, triple, difference, alternate series, squares, and cubes. For quadratics, practise fast factorization and sign checking. Attempt daily sectional mocks Solve at least one 20-minute quant sectional test daily. Analyze which 5–7 questions consumed extra time and fix your weak areas. Exam-time approach: Start with the easiest scoring topics Begin with the first 10–12 questions that require minimum calculation. Usually: • number series • quadratic equations • simplification/approximation • easy arithmetic Move to DI when warmed up Attempt the easiest DI first. A well-picked DI set can give you 4–5 marks in under 4 minutes. Skip DI sets that involve heavy calculations. Select arithmetic questions smartly Attempt arithmetic only if: • numbers are simple • the structure is clear • calculations are manageable Skip heavy time–work or compound interest questions if they look lengthy. Avoid ego-trapping questions If a question feels tricky, leave it immediately. One wrong attempt can break your accuracy and consume your precious seconds. Maintain your attempt–time ratio You should aim for: • first 10 questions in 5 minutes • next 10 questions in 7 minutes • remaining 10 questions in 7–8 minutes The goal is 30+ attempts with 90 percent accuracy. Use elimination techniques Many arithmetic and DI questions allow option elimination. Compare values, approximate, or check unit digits. Keep accuracy high RRB PO prelims cutoffs are attempt-driven but still accuracy-sensitive. Avoid blind guessing. Attempt what you are confident in. #rrbpo2025 #rrbpoquant2025 #rrbpolatestpattern #rrbpoexpectedpaper #rrbpoquant #rrbpoexam2025 #rrbclerk2025 #bankingexam2025 #ibpsrrbpo2025 #ibpsrrbclerk2025 #rrbpoquantclass #careerdefiner #kaushikmohanty #bankexamstrategy #quantforbankexams #rrbpoquanttricks #rrbpoquantpractice #rrbpoexamanalysis #rrbpo2025strategy #rrbpo2025prelims
