Egypt is building a new Capital City in the Desert Called the New Administrative Capital about 30 Miles east of Cairo the current capital city of Egypt. Already in the Project Egypt has built the Tallest Tower in Africa called the Iconic Tower. The Tower is 400 meters tall making it the Tallest Building and the Tallest structure in Africa. Apart from the Tower Egypt has also built the Biggest Cathedral in Africa and the Middle East, a huge presidential palace, dozens of ministry buildings, schools, hospitals, and mosques. The Idea of the New Administrative Capital is one of the Mega Projects that Abdel Fattah El Sisi, The current president of Egypt is planning to develop to boost the Country’s economy. The Construction of this new Capital City began in 2016 and is being completed in phases with Phase one being almost Complete and phase two is expected to begin this year.
