Hello, everyone! Welcome back to All Electric. In this quick tutorial, I'll guide you through the ins and outs of using Autopilot on your Tesla. If you're struggling to spot that elusive gray steering wheel, fear not—I've got you covered. First things first, head into your Autopilot settings. You might encounter an error prompting you to enable Auto Steer. Hit 'Yes' to the disclaimer, and voila, Auto Steer is activated. Now that you've got Auto Steer turned on, let's delve into controlling the drive stock. A single pull downward engages adaptive cruise control, ensuring automatic braking. A second pull reveals a blue steering wheel—welcome to Autopilot. Always confirm the gray steering wheel on your center display before engaging Autopilot. Wondering how to disengage Autopilot? There are three methods to do so. Once engaged, adjusting speed is a breeze. Autopilot defaults to a speed 5 mph over the limit, but you can tweak this in settings under Autopilot and speed limit. Remember, Autopilot won't activate in parking lots or certain areas. Ensure you're on a suitable road like the one shown here where Autopilot is permitted. This one's for the new Tesla owners feeling a bit frustrated—hang in there! I hope this tutorial has shed some light on using Autopilot effectively.
