The camera industry is constantly evolving. While single-lens reflex cameras dominated the market for decades, they were displaced by digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLRs) in the 2000s. Now these seem to be replaced by mirrorless system cameras (DSLM). But are DSLRs really already dinosaurs? Can they still keep up with current technology? How do they fare in terms of autofocus, continuous shooting, shutter and price against the "revolutionary" mirrorless cameras? For example, how does the electronic viewfinder compare to the optical one and what are the advantages and disadvantages for bird photography and nature photography in general? In this video, I share my thoughts on the future of camera technology.
