#epiphone #acousticguitar #davidsmusicchannel Here's a quick review of the Epiphone DR-100 acoustic guitar. I picked up this guitar on the used market. There's a lot you can do with a budget acoustic guitar to make it sound and feel pretty good. I wish I had known this earlier. I spent years struggling to play on beginner guitars. hopefully with this advice you can get to a great playing budget guitar sooner. Firstly; Always check the nut and make sure that you have the height right. there are several videos online and how to do so. If you bought a used guitar, make sure you clean the fret board and use some lemon oil to make it nice to play on. You can also try to Polish the frets with some steel wool. Most important; make sure that the action of the guitar is low and the string tension is not too hard to play on. If your current strings are too thick consider getting a thinner set. You can even go down to electric guitar strings if necessary. At the end of the day you want an instrument that you enjoy playing and not one that makes you fight through to get a few notes going. I hope you find this video helpful. You can also check out my video on how to mic an acoustic guitar so you can get the best sound on a budget.
