It’s totally common courtesy to brush your teeth before dental appointments, but if you can’t – that’s totally okay too. I personally don’t mind at all if you don’t, but I still do appreciate it when someone tells me they weren’t able to brush beforehand! So always tell your dentist and/or dental hygienist if you just ate or were unable to brush beforehand. Then the ball is in their court and they can decide whether or not they’ll ask you to brush in the restroom really quick before they start your dental procedure!
