When seeing Santa Claus costs money 💰 Part 2️⃣4️⃣ of our travel sabbatical adventures in the Nordics! 👉 If you love travel or want to see the realities of traveling, then come follow us @minjunandkevin on our travel sabbatical around the world! 🌎 Going to Santa Claus Village to see Santa 🎅 and his reindeer 🦌 was fun, but there were some things we wished we knew beforehand to set expectations and have a better experience. The village itself has a couple different areas, from Santa Claus’ house 🏡, Santa’s post office 📬, souvenir shops, restaurants, hotels, the Arctic Circle line, and the reindeer and husky petting areas. The husky 🐕 petting closes early and has specific time slots, so check those before you go! Some additional tips 🪄 😎Overall, we spent about half a day at the village but you can spend a whole day there if you do all the activities. 🍲The food is on the expensive side, so we ate before we went. 🚌Make sure to check the bus schedule and map on the Santa Claus Village website. Google Maps told us to wait across the highway on the wrong side of the street for the bus. 👟Some activities are spread out, so give yourself enough time to get around. Everything is still walkable though! ❓What’s on your wish list from Santa Claus this year? 📢 Stay tuned as we find out how much we spent in Finland next! 👉 Follow along to: 1) discover new countries and food gems, 2) hear honest travel reviews and tips, 3) learn what a realistic travel budget is, 4) live vicariously through travel’s ups, downs, and funny moments! #travel #travelreels #travelcouple #nyccouple #travellife #sabbatical #worldtrip #finland #rovaniemi #finlandtravel #visitfinland #santaclaus #reindeer #santaclausvillage #christmas #lapland Travel Couple | NYC Couple | Travel Sabbatical | World Trip | Finland | Rovaniemi | Santa Claus Village
