Satyam Gandhi gave a 100 mock test before his prelims attempt in 2020. He secured AIR 10. Mayur Hazarika gave almost 10 to 12 mock test before his attempt. He secured AIR 5. So, now the question arises that how many mock tests should you give? And there is no right answer to this. There is no right answer over here. The answer depends on your preparation. If your history is weak, then maybe give more section tests over there. If the quality is good, then okay, after one section test, move ahead. The entire purpose of this conversation is that you have to be conscious in your UPSC preparation. Don't do things with a lot of effort. You have to give 50 tests and if you give 50 tests, you haven't learnt anything from them. Because you haven't reviewed the test, you haven't learnt from those mistakes, then you will keep repeating the same mistake and there is no use of that. So, learn from your mistakes and best of luck.
