Charted at #76 on Billboard Hot 100 in January 1959. This remake was the last Billboard charting single for this sister group. Interestingly enough, the original slower version of "Teach Me Tonight" was their first charting single, and biggest hit, making it to #2 on the Hot 100 in October 1954 (#20 UK). Other charting versions of "Teach Me Tonight": #15 for Jo Stafford in November 1954, #4 R&B for Dinah Washington in 1954, #25 for George Maharis in April 1962 (#8 Adult Contemporary) and #70 for Al Jarreau in April 1982 (#19 Adult Contemporary). Original Billboard review: "The gals have a strong bid in their new version of their hit of some years ago. "Teach Me Tonight Cha Cha" is very much in the current pop groove, and there is already action on the side in some areas." Released as a single in December 1958. Written by Gene De Paul & Sammy Cahn. B-side is "The Things I Tell My Pillow".
