I visited Varna, Bulgaria, the main coastal city on the Black Sea in early May. It was completely dead and a complete dump. I think in the summer it’s a much nicer place from what I hear. However, Bulgaria is in the Schengen zone now, although it is still super cheap: $15 hostels and $5 meals. Doesn’t matter, this city and the coastal are both avoidable. #varna #bulgaria #shorts #balkan
