It may look pretty similar to the normal F150, however there are some key changes to set it apart from its petrol-powered stablemate. Aside from the plethora of Lightning badges around the truck, you can get a full-width light bar at the front which gives it real presence on the road. You also get a blanked out grille finished in gloss black and a light bar at the back. The changes are obviously far more than just aesthetic though, as the big V8 engine has been chucked away in favour of an electric drivetrain. You get two motors, one on each axle, providing all-wheel-drive. As standard, this truck has a 98kWh battery with 452hp and 240 miles of range. If that's not enough for you, then you can upgrade to the 131kWh battery, giving you 583hp and 320 miles of range. The Ford F150 Lightning starts from just under £41,000, however the range-topping Platinum version we have here will set you back close to £90,000. But is it worth it?
