There’s nothing magic about the need for building permits – even famed magician and Clark County resident Penn Jillette needs them. The magician lent his talents to Clark County’s Building and Fire Prevention Department to help illustrate the need for building permits as the star of a new TV Public Service Announcement making its debut for Building Safety Month. The PSA was filmed on location when Jillette was demolishing is former homed, called “The Slammer,” in the southwest valley as part of a movie project.
