This is the second accident of DFC. Accidents are happening continuously one after the other. The DFC corridor, due to which the dream of five trillion economy was being dreamed, is continuously spreading. If this continues, soon the DFC will become a mere joke. A goods train going from Tundla to Kanpur overturned on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) at around five o'clock in the evening in front of village Jaitia of Vaidpura police station area. The wagons of the goods train which were traveling at a speed of 100 km, ran over each other. About 24 ballast-laden wagons fell 25 feet. A child on the side of the track died after being buried under the debris, while two children and a woman were injured. Out of the total 58, 46 wagons have been damaged. According to the villagers, the goods train was going at a speed of about 100 km, suddenly the ballast-laden wagons started overturning with a loud noise due to the derailment of the track. Four wagons with engine stopped about two km ahead of the spot, four wagons and the guard's brake vehicle remained on the track. Several wagons ran over each other on the track itself, while others fell about 25 feet below the track, breaking the OHE electric pole. The ballast came out of the wagons and spread to the field. 12-year-old Sachin, a resident of Jaitia, who was grazing goats in his debris, has died. 12-year-old Anurag, nine-year-old Gaurav, 50-year-old Suman Devi were injured. About a dozen goats also died. The administration has admitted everyone to the hospital. On August 23, a goods train derailed between Jaswantnagar and Balrai on the same track. However, there were no casualties in it. SSP Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh, ASP Omveer Singh, SDM Saifai N Ram and CO Jaswantnagar reached Rajiv Pratap Singh. A DFC official has prima facie feared the incident due to mud shoveling under the track due to rain four days back. No one else was ready to say anything. The SSP said that the villagers feared that some more children were trapped. So the debris is being removed. *DISCLAIMER* CLIPS / IMAGES USED IN THE VIDEO ARE -ROYALTY FREE -CREATIVE COMMONS -IN PUBLIC DOMAIN -COMMON OWNERSHIP GIVEN BY GOVERMENT OF INDIA Video is for educational purpose only.
