A triple parallel park fail has been caught on same camera in South London and because they are that bad at parking viewers think it is a set up. This type of parking can be tricky, especially on Rotherhill Avenue in Streatham where this time last year we painstakingly witnessed a ’31-point’ parallel park totaling seven minutes and 25 seconds. Last month (24/07/2022) on the same street three friends met up and each had their own struggles, one behind the wheel of a BMW, another driving a Mercedes, and the third pulled up in an Audi. The driver of the BMW drove into a vacant space closest to the camera, and then drove back out again before reversing back the vehicle is half a meter from the kerb. Second comes the driver of the Mercedes, followed by the Audi driver who both correctly choose to reverse into their spaces and after initial positioning errors they both manage to park. Despite the generous space the Mercedes driver came close to reversing into a parked car, however completed the manoeuvre in a grueling 10-points. The Audi driver who admittedly had the smallest space finished second in second with 9-points. After composing herself for a minute and appearing to take advice from a man on the pavement, the BMW driver then corrects herself and comes first with a 6-point parallel park. It is revealed all three drivers were women when they get out their cars to go and enjoy their evening. John Mulvey shared the clip online entitled, “When no-one can park a car, and they all meet up”. The clip has been viewed over 8,000 times and attracted over 200 likes and comments. One user was sceptical and suggested it was a set up, he wrote: “This has to be a set up, all making equally the same stupid mistakes and all caught on one camera, sorry but I’m calling a fix.” Another commented: “This is painful for me to watch I’m sitting here wanting to go do it for them!” A third wrote: “Giving female drivers a bad name.” A fourth simply said: “Synchronised incompetence.”
