The notion of a ‘Sanam’ [idol] can be related to many different facets and facades of existence, but the underlying understanding is that everything is contained within one unity that emcompasses all that exists; both within and beyond the realms of human comprehension. Musically, ‘Sanam Bia’ draws strong influence from the music of the foothills of the Zagros Mountains, Northern Mesopotamia and Eastern Anatolia and borrows heavily from the Kurdish, Laki and Feyli musical palette. The Daf, Tanbur and Choral Chanting which are utilised in this track are prominent features of the spiritual music of Western Iran. The spoken tone vocals take inspiration from urbanised elements of Sufi tradition that incorporate public storytelling and lamentations that can be loosely associated with Qalandari and Naghali rhythmic poetry performances. The music video, Directed by Khashayar Atefi, is predominantly filmed in the foothills of the Alborz Mountains in the Shemiranat region of Northern Tehran and takes a route from the traditional district of EmamZadeh Ghasem through to the opulent neighbourhood of Elahieh before reaching an abandoned factory at the outer peripheries of the Capital. The video features a range of garments and fashions, from contemporary designs by Maysa Mellatkhah which incorporates the Ajam Logo, to the traditional Darvish dress of Ajam’s good friend Ramtin Haghani (Mohabat Ali Shah). این حالت بی قراری چیست؟ تا به حال براتون پیش اومده که در جستجوي چیزی باشید، ولي هنوز از ماهيت اش باخبر نباشید ؟… بیداری، رویا، یقظه، وهم؛ در تمام این حالات ما می تونیم «صنم» هایی رو ببینیم، صنم‌هایی رو بسازیم و حتي صنم‌هایی رو بشکنیم؛ در نهایت اما، در بطن هر صنم، فقط یکی هست؛ که هیچ نیست جز او... بیا بیا ای صنم بیا ! صنم بیا عرض ادبی‌ست به فرهنگ موسیقیِ عرفانی ایران زمین و عموم الحان و اصواتِ این قطعه، از موسیقی #کردی و #لکی الهام گرفته شده. شیوه ي خوانش، ارائه بحرطویل و شاه بیتِ "صنم بیا" ، وام دار فرمهای گوناگونِ نقالی و ذکرخوانیِ عرفانی ست. عجم در گذشته این آهنگ رو به شکل های مختلفی اجرا کرده بود، اما وقتی دوست خوب عجم و کارگردان مجرب، #خشایار_عاطفي آهنگ صنم بيا رو شنید، قبول زحمت کرد که این آهنگ و مضمون‌ش رو به تصویر بکشه. اکثر نماهای اول نماهنگ #صنم_بیا در ناحیه‌ی با اصالت و قدیمی «امام زاده قاسم» و «گلابدره» در شمیرانات تهران فیلمبرداری شده. ماجرای نماهنگ به تدریج از شهر گذر میکنه و به کارخانه ای متروک در حاشیه ي غربی تهران میرسه. طراحی لباسِ بازیگر خانم، در اول نماهنگ، توسط خانم مایسا ملت خواه انجام شده که خودشون هم در ویدیو حضور دارند. دوست باصفا و باایمان عجم، آقای رامتین حقانی [درویش محبت علیشاه خاکسار] هم با پوشش اصیل درویشی در نماي دوم نماهنگ به تصاویر اصالت بخشیدند. خواننده‌ى بحر طويل: امين عجمى خواننده‌ى قسمتهاى آوايى: آرش فياضى تار، تنبور، نوبانگ: آرش فياضى دف: سارا فطرس بالابان: پرهام بهادران نرمه‌ناى، عود و گيتار الکتریک: امین عجمی سازهای کوبه‌ای و تنظیم درامز و باس: نریمان اكرمى نوازندگان مهمان: اميرحسين كيانى پور دستیار تصویر: فراز رستگاری با سپاس از: زرتشت صفری، علیرضا عریفی، ابراهیم زندی، رامتين حقانى (محبت عليشاه خاكسار)، مایسا ،ملت خواه، عليرضا وليزاده و آموزشگاه وليزاده، شایان حقیقی، آرشام عمادی، امیر نصر‌الله پور، ساینا قادری
