A tragic train accident in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district claimed 13 lives and left 40 others injured when passengers of the Pushpak Express, fearing a fire, stepped out of their coaches. As the Bengaluru-New Delhi Karnataka Express passed through, several passengers were hit by the moving train. The Commissioner of Railway Safety will investigate the incident, with early reports citing sparks caused by hot axles or brake-binding inside the Pushpak Express.
