Even though it played an important role in the political and economic integration of Europe, it decided not to be involved in parts of the European Union and some issues concerning certain internal affairs. Denmark is overall a very safe country to visit, even compared to other countries in Europe. However, it does have some dangers though using your common sense should get you out of any trouble.
