In this video series, I expand coverage of one car reviewed on my main channel, Porsche and Ferrari youtube.com/PorscheandFerrari and present it as a #shorts video. On today’s main channel I reviewed a GT silver 2016 Porsche 911 R with 5,000 miles Sold for $420,250. Wow. This is #60 of 991 examples Porsche made in the spirit of the 1967 911 R. Lightweight panels and other elements from the GT3RS, including its 500 horsepower engine and 8600 rpm redline. Unblemished by silly graphics and stripes, this R is clean and purposeful. Widely regarded as one of the best 911s ever, sadly, most Rs are now among the investment pieces in the Porsche universe. Is it as coveted as a Carrera GT? Not today, we’re only six years down the road…and before all were delivered, prices surpassed a million for some ‘used’ cars, and that was up from a sticker of about $200,000. I would definitely take a Carrera GT over the R – yesterday, today and tomorrow. Does that make the R a superior investment? Likely only is you were an original owner. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2016-porsche-911-r-18/ #porsche996turbo #porsche #ferrari #porsche986 #porshce987 #porsche928 #porsche996C4S #porsche996turbo #porsche993targa #porsche997turbo #porscheboxsters #porsche911turbo #porsche993C4S #porschecaymangt4 #backdated911 #porsche928 #porsche992 #porschetarga #porsche996 #porsche987 #porsche964 #porschebackdated #porschecaymangt4 #porschecayman #porschecaymen #porschegt4 #porschecaymanr
