While we're not in Kansas, you can catch a glimpse of the Tin Man. The Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreaation and Tourism celebrates the life and loves of artist David Butler. Twenty brightly-painted metal cutouts and kinectic sculptures are on display at the Louisiana State Museum. KWBJ Reporter Danika Foley has the story. Additional information - Butler began his hand at sculpting and painting late in life while in his 50s. His artwork later garnered national attention during the 1970s. Nearly a decade later, Butler reluctantly began to sell his yard work, and in some cases, much of it was stolen. He later died in 1997. The outside art of David Butler Exhibit will be open through March 2012. The museum is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4pm. Admission is free.
