Welcome to our hobbit house on wheels! 🌿 We’re Jessica, Risi and Heidi, and a couple of years ago we decided to buy a second hand van to live a simpler and cheaper life in nature. We spent 5 months working on our DIY campervan conversion and turned it into a tiny home on wheels using reclaimed and natural materials. Now we're living and travelling in our little wooden cabin full-time - we have visited 7 countries in Europe so far, and are hoping to see the entire continent in the next few years! 🚌 Our build was inspired by Middle Earth, and we wanted it to feel as natural as possible so that we could feel surrounded by nature anytime. Our van "Bilbo" is a 2016 Citroen Relay (XL wheelbase + high top) featuring a large kitchen for off-grid cooking, a queen-sized bed that transforms into a U-shaped sofa, a full bathroom and cosy driving area. We built this tiny home with no experience, just passion and creativity! 💛 We’re passionate about sustainable living, simple living, and slow travel.
