Phase One IQ2 digital backs: http://www.phaseone.com/IQ2 Test drive Phase One: http://www.phaseone.com/demo The IQ260 has a long exposure mode that enables photographers to attain virtually noise-free images with the exposure times about one hour. To activate the long exposure mode, tap ISO on home screen, tap Long Exposure Mode and On. You'll now notice that the ISO range starts a 140 and goes up to 800. This can be extended up to ISO 3200 in Sensor+ mode. Turn the Long Exposure Mode off to access a lower ISO setting. You'll be returned to the ISO menu where you can select a setting as low as 50. When the mode is off, the IQ260 will automatically display a dialog box that suggest turning the mode back on when using exposure times longer than 10 seconds. This mode is straightforward to use but before you get started, it's worth taking a few simple steps to ensure you get the best results possible. Firstly, close the eye piece shutter after you've framed the shot to stop any stray light from entering the viewfinder. Use a lens wrap to cover the entire camera to ensure there's no chance that any light leak. Remember when you shoot a long exposure, the digital back will make a black calibration as soon as the capture is finished. This will be the same duration as the exposure time itself.
