The verdict in the Ashwini Bidre murder case, which has been the focus of the entire Maharashtra, has finally been announced today. After a wait of 9 years, the Panvel Sessions Court has sentenced the main accused Abhay Kurundkar to life imprisonment. The remaining two accused have been sentenced to 7 years and the court has ordered their release as they have served 7 years in prison.
