Arizona is full of rich history and it’s that history that we want to celebrate in our new Arizona legacy series. We start with the Orpheum Theatre that is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year. Opening on January 5, 1929, the Orpheum Theatre was the pride of Phoenix. It had 1,800 seats and the stage, with 101 feet of width and 28 feet of depth, made the Orpheum the only theatre between Los Angeles and Denver able to handle the traveling vaudeville shows that changed weekly. We explore this entertainment gem and how important it is to the history of our state. https://www.orpheumphx.com/
