A giant CRT that was given life through the power of a dark fountain, it’s his goal to keep Kris, Susie, and Ralsei entertained with his various video game game boards on his show, TV Time! He rules over TV World, signing every member of the dark world into dubious contracts to be his crew. Tenna’s been through a lot, being Kris’s television for all of their life. He’s seen the family come together to watch holiday specials. He’s seen the family slowly break apart through Toriel and Asgore’s messy divorce. What’s more, he’s been through his own personal struggles when backdealing salesman Spamton G. Spamton walked out on him right before the two of them could make a deal. Tenna copes with over the top games, wacky humor, and calling out to “Mike” behind the scenes to put together the best show he can. A show that his viewers will love watching. They just have to. Vox is the media overlord in Hazbin Hotel’s depiction of Hell. When alive, Vox gained a very cult-like following through his takeover of a television network, rising to the highest of ranks until one of his own televisions fell onto his head, ending his run early. As a demon, Vox continues his conquest. As a part of the Vees, a team of himself, fashion icon Velvette, and porno producer Valentino, he spearheads a movement to not only rule over Hell itself, but to go further beyond and take over Heaven in the second season of the show. He has a hypnotic grip over all of Hell’s news, entertainment, and security, which he’s not afraid to gloat about. Much of this behavior comes from a humbling, humiliating encounter he had with dealmaker Alastor, who laughed Vox’s idea to team up out of the room. But that doesn’t matter now. Vox is going to show everyone who doubted him that he’s going to shine brighter, no matter who he has to kill to show it. Trust him.
