I do a quick analysis on the following events at AWS: An outage on December 7th took many AWS customers offline which was not just limited to the location that had the issues. On December 22nd the same location lost power. No datacenter is infallible and it comes down to management and abilities at all levels of the data center. I invite your questions and comments on how it relates to your company's IT infrastructure, whether you use AWS or not.
