A powerful atmospheric river hammered California over the holidays, triggering record rainfall, flooding and evacuations across multiple regions. Emergency crews say the threat continued Friday – with rain still falling and saturated ground increasing the risk of flooding and debris flows. Officials warn additional rain could worsen conditions – especially near burn scar areas as crews remain on high alert statewide. Global’s Neetu Garcha reports.
