I'm a gig work driver, meaning I deliver food with places like UberEats, DoorDash, etc. But I, and other drivers, have been noticing a trend of orders for deliveries getting ridiculously low with their pay, yet asking drivers to drive insane miles for it. Because of this, it inspired me to rant and yap about this change, about how Uber continues to cut our pay so they can profit more, and about all the other instances recently on how corporations needlessly take excessive money from us peasants to keep themselves on the top of the pyramid, even when they don't have to do these things to be profitable and make money. And no, for anyone ready to angrily rant in the comments about this video being a "dismantle capitalism!" video, it's not (simply because im not confident enough in my knowledge about economics to make such a bold statement yet). It's a "businesses need to stop making things so expensive and cheat their workers out of pay when they don't have to just to make more money" video.
