There are a million different ways to create compelling compositions, but this is one of my go-to methods for shooting the forest... The forest is a difficult place to find compelling compositions. With lots of plants, branches, leaves, and more, it can be challenging to simplify the scene with a strong subject. Additionally, finding an interesting subject can prove to be a challenge of its own. I always consider the land's topography when scouting for forests that I think will shoot well. If possible, I try to shoot into or up a hill when capturing images of the forest. By shooting into or up a hill, you avoid having any distracting elements behind your subject, which can help to simplify the scene. If you have any tips for shooting the forest, I'd love to hear them. I hope this will help you find more compelling images in the forest! #photographertips #learnphotography #photography #photography_tips #improvephotography #naturephotography #landscapephotography
