@PolestarCars is not new to Volvo, the once performance division of the company has now been spun-off to be the electric performance brand of Volvo. Last year, the #Polestar2 become the brand's first-ever EV, unlike the #Polestar 1 which was a limited production PHEV. While Polestar is promising an SUV next year called the Polestar 3, for 2022, the Model 3 fighting Polestar 2 gets a less expensive single motor to go with the #Polestar2DualMotor that was introduced last year. On paper, it has slightly less range, but at up to 260 miles on a full charge and a cheaper base price this year, it provides an enticing option for EV shoppers looking for a credible Tesla alternative.
