Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global Release: What You Need to Know! Hello guys, I hope you all are doing great! We’re back with an exciting update on Xiaomi's highly anticipated 15 Ultra, which is officially getting a global release soon. As confirmed by a company executive, the launch is expected as early as next month. Today, we have our first look at the device, thanks to a live hands-on image shared by a tipster on X. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s design is nothing short of striking, featuring a massive camera island reminiscent of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, the layout has been refreshed, with the sensors, LED flash, and Leica branding repositioned for a new look. Unlike its predecessor, the frame now adopts a cleaner, more traditional design, moving away from the seamless flow into the rear panel. The hands-on image also reveals a red ring around the camera island, which beautifully complements the textured glass finish on the black colorway, potentially sparkling when light hits it. In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to boast a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera using Samsung's ISOCELL JN5, and a 50 MP short-range telephoto lens. Powering this flagship device will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, running Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. The phone is also expected to pack a 6,000 mAh battery, with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, offering impressive efficiency for its class. But that's not all! In addition to this flagship model, Xiaomi is rumored to be working on a new foldable smartphone, possibly the Mix Flip 2, which was recently registered with 3C under the model number 25042PN24C. This clamshell-style foldable could feature 90W wired charging, a significant upgrade from the original Mix Flip’s 67W standard. The Mix Flip 2 is also expected to include an enlarged battery, bigger screens, and a thinner form factor, making it a more powerful and portable alternative. What sets the Mix Flip 2 apart is its potential to outshine competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is rumored to stick with the slower 25W charging standard of its predecessor. Xiaomi’s new foldable could also see improvements in thermal management and efficiency, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Mix Flip 2 demonstrate Xiaomi’s commitment to pushing boundaries in both design and performance. With innovative features and cutting-edge technology, these devices are shaping up to be strong contenders in their respective categories. That said, I’ll be ending the discussion for today.
