In June 2002, Kevin Nash announced a new member of NWO. Shawn Michaels made his return after 18 months. A week later, NWO was in the ring and Michaels turned on Booker T. Three weeks later, NWO teased Triple H joining them. Michaels turned on Big Show too. But then they accepted him back in. Vince McMahon announced that NWO has disbanded. A week later, DX reunited, while they were in the ring, Triple H attacked Michaels and hit him with a pedigree. A week later, Michaels demanded Triple H from Eric Bischoff. Later Triple H rushed to the parking lot to find Michaels unconscious. Bischoff was happy about that but Triple H told him it wasn’t him. A week later Michaels appeared with the camera footage to show it was actually Triple H. And then challenged him at Summerslam for an unsanctioned match. They finally met, Triple H put him through a chair. And on another. Michales came back with a sweet chin music. Hit him with a chair. Superplex happened. Triple H got countered. Michaels jumped outside on him. Then hit an elbow from the ladder. Michaels went for the finish, Triple H countered, but he also countered him into a roll up and won the match. After the match, Triple H hit him the the sledgehammer and then once again.
