The same people who were cleaning the Walmart and Target shelves, reselling packs for 3x the price, and stockpiling cards like investments are now stuck with piles of product. Prices are finally settling, stores are getting stock, and the community doesn’t feel bad for these resellers and scalpers who are taking cards from kids. As Pokemon has been printing more cards than ever before, the bubble was never going to last forever. Rate cards that were considered hits are dropping in price and the market is being corrected. Collectors are finally able to return to the hobby that was saturated with greed for years. It’s about time we see a change in the Pokemon community.
