Today, we're gonna take a look at the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit for the tandem axle trailers with the 1 3/4 inch wide double eye springs. Now, this suspension kit will include the equalizers and all the hardware for attaching four leaf springs to the hangers on your trailer's frame. This does work with the 1 3/4 inch wide double eye springs and with tandem axle trailers with 33 inch axle spacing. Now, the hangers are not included, we do sell those separately on our website, and they're usually listed on this product page as related product. This part will include everything laid out here on the table, and we're gonna go through all these pieces. We'll start with the equalizers, these equalizers, there's two of them, and they are 5 3/4 inches long, and that's measured from the center of that circle bolt hole to the center of that circle. And the bolt hole diameters on these, all three of these are 9/16 of an inch, and these equalizers do allow for 33 inches between the axles. Right here we have four of the 2 1/4 inch long shackle link assemblies, and they use 9/16 diameter by 3 3/8 inch long wet bolts. When we say wet bolts, they have the zerk fittings on there that you could lubricate the bolts. And when we say the 2 1/4 inch long shackle links, what we're measuring is the center to center. In other words, from the center of this bolt to the center of this bolt is gonna be 2 1/4 inches. And then of course you have your other sides, comes with four 2 1/4 inch long shackle links. Also comes right here with four 9/16 diameter by 2 7/8 inch long wet shoulder bolts, and it comes with two 9/16 diameter by 2 7/8 inch long regular shoulder bolts. Eight of the 9/16 by 1 3/4 inch long bronze bushings, and then 14 total 7/16 by 20 size flange nuts. Now, going back to these equalizers, these equalizers will transfer your load and impact from one axle to another by permitting movement between the axles. The springs will attach to the ends of the equalizers with the included hardware, and the wet bolts will secure the equalizers and the springs to the hangers on your trailer. If you noticed on of these equalizers, at the top of each one, there's a grease zerk fitting that allows you to hook your grease gun to it and allow for a fast, easy lubrication to keep your moving parts functioning at their best. The heavy-duty shackle link assemblies with the bolts will secure your springs to the equalizers. And what's nice about these, they're heavy-duty size, they're a half inch thick link, which are a lot thicker than your standard straps for greater durability. The bushings here we mentioned, they're designed to fit into the spring eyes, help maintain a well-functioning system and ensure proper sizing for your suspension bolts, they are bronze construction to resist corrosion.
