I wondered if it would be possible to find the graves of some of these famous Danes. As it turns out, it is very easy to find the graves of famous people in Assistens Cemetery! There is even a special section set aside for famous people, and all of the graves are well-marked. I was able to find the graves of several famous Danish authors, including Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard. I also found the grave of the famous physicist Niels Bohr.
