When officers made contact with the suspect, he quickly fled into a nearby cornfield. During the search, dispatch received a report of a stolen UTV in the same area. Although the UTV was recovered, the suspect remained at large. The following day, the Sheriff's Office was alerted to a third vehicle theft linked to the suspect. A deputy soon spotted him, but the suspect sped away. He eventually abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, only to meet his fate.
