Phase One IQ2 digital backs: http://www.phaseone.com/IQ2 Test drive Phase One: http://www.phaseone.com/demo The IQ2 features a touch screen interface that makes it easy to zoom, pan, and browse through images. The home screen enables quick access to the Play menu, ISO, and White Balance options that be selected either by tapping the screen directly, or by pressing one of the four external buttons. The external buttons will change function to match the menu shown on the display. In general, the two buttons on the right are used to navigate up and down the menu system. The two buttons on the left are used to select a menu option or to access a screen. However, press Play on the home screen and these four buttons will take on a different role. The two buttons on the left are used to zoom in and out of an image file and they can be used to display a thumbnail collection. The two buttons on the right can be used to scroll through images and thumbnails. The bottom of the home screen features an info bar that displays a power indicator and also show a Fire Wire and USB icons when shooting tethered. There's a counter that displays how many more image files can be shot to the compact flash card or to a computer and hard drive for shooting tethered. All these icons will blink on and off to warn you that your storage media is full, your battery life is running low, or that you have a connection problem. The ISO, White Balance and raw file format are displayed in the middle of the home screen. Sensor+ will be displayed next to the raw file format if the Sensor+ function is in use. Press the context menu icon in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen to access three image review options. Tap the key icon to lock the four external buttons as well as the touch screen. Tap the movie camera icon to start LiveView. To set the shutter to expose in more than two seconds you'll get a display that'll count down the amount of time until the image is displayed on the screen. All IQ2 series digital backs feature a red and a green LED. A flashing green LED indicates that the back is busy exposing the CCD or moving data from the CCD. An illuminated red LED means the back is writing to the storage media. A continuous green light indicates that the display of the IQ back is dimmed, but the back is still ready to shoot.
