With Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 not doing so well on the market AMD is looking to get busy to pump up those sales. This includes launching some more cost effective skus at lower prices which will make the 7000 series more appealing. Since Intel’s Raptor Lake has hit the market consumers have been looking at AMD for a response. Intel is offering better multi-core performance in all the segments. A 7600X just can’t compete with the value a 13600K offers despite having more or less equal gaming performance. With AMD releasing non-X parts like a Ryzen 9 7900 or Ryzen 5 7600 at drastically lower prices this will help align them better against the competition. Another major move AMD can pull off is releasing X3D V-Cache variants of the Ryzen 7000 series. However, it seems like they will be limited to just 8-cores which I can see displeasing a lot of consumers. Nonetheless this would put AMD significantly ahead of Intel when it comes to gaming.
