This story came from the Song Dynasty when a farmer watched a rabbit pass on after running into a tree and got to have rabbit for dinner (a luxurious meal back in the days). From that day onwards, he decided that he will not continue with his daily farming and instead, sit by the tree waiting for the next rabbit to run into it. However, that never happened again and the villagers laughed at him for being a fool.
