“Sustainability” isn’t working because it’s a dull, technocratic idea, based on the principle of maintaining the status quo. By contrast, regenerative ecological design inspires us to aim higher, and to restore the health, beauty, and vibrant flourishing of the Earth’s living systems, so that we leave the world in a better condition for our children and future generations. This short, informal slide lecture was given by David Fideler at the Green Drinks meeting in Sarajevo on November 15, 2016. David is the author of the book “Restoring the Soul of the World” (http://www.thesouloftheworld.com) and editor of the Cosmopolis Project website (http://www.cosmopolisproject.org).
