In this video, I will show you how to hold your yarn. I highly recommend bulky size yarn for beginners. You can hold it and see it easier than you can the smaller yarns. Start with a very basic way to hold your yarn and as you crochet you will find what works for you. How you hold your yarn is very important because it will control your tension and your tension will determine the consistency of your stitches. This will come with time so don't worry about that too much when you are just starting out. Practice makes perfect. To find more information on crocheting please check out my blog at www.averylanecreations.com The crochet hook I'm using in this video is size N/P 10mm. The yarn that I'm using in the video is Lion Brand Hometown USA in the color Springfield Silver. Other bulky brand yarns I like to use are: Bernat Blanket yarn, Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn (this is sooo soft) Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick You can shop my recommended products here www.amazon.com/shop/averylanecreations The post includes affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you make a purchase using one of my links, at no extra cost to you.
