NASA's CRAZY PLAN TO BUILD THE SUPERSONIC STAR RAKER SPACE PLANE With SpaceX in the testing phase of their reusable space shuttle launch system or the Virgin Galactic sub orbital passenger flight already accepting bookings for next year, you could be forgiven in believing that we are living through the height of space exploration and technology. But not quite. Way back in the 70’s NASA had detailed designs and plans for a jet that could fly into orbit, dock on satellites, and fly back home, all in a day’s work.
