ASRock DeskMini A300 This is the second one of these units that I have built. It replaces, and probably costs about the same as a cheap PC case, motherboard and power supply, but saves a lot of space. No graphics card is required, and the Vega8 or Vega11 APU graphics will be great for productivity and streaming - but no good for serious gaming. I would not say the graphics are strong enough for a dedicated HTPC as HD video can sometimes seem to stutter just a bit. The first unit was a dual-boot W10 / Linux Mint setup, with each OS on its own 2.5" SATA SSD under the motherboard, and no M.2 NVMe devices. I prefer Linux these days, but had to retain some Windows/USB functionality to run my Vellemann Oscilloscope and my DATS speaker measurement unit. The second unit is Linux only and should respond faster, using the M.2 NVMe SSD to boot and run software. It may end up being overkill for a YouTube / ZOOM video terminal but hey, what can you do?! I did try the R5 3400G APU but couldn’t get it to play nicely with Linux in this system (even with the BIOS updates) so I sent it back and changed to the R5 2400G which has performed well and given no trouble. There might be a way to get the 3400G working but the newsgroup 'solutions' looked too complicated for me! PS: I have now learned that when the AMD fan is separated from the heat-sink, you can remove the little glued-on spacers under the screws and so reduce the height of the cooler by about 3mm, which makes it easier to slide the tray into the case. Just make sure the fan cable is properly tucked in to its little channel on the underside of the fan strut, otherwise it will get trapped and maybe crushed. (The spacers made room for the cable even if it was not tucked in). Alternatively, you can buy a Noctua NH-L9a AM4 cooler which is a little bit quieter and gives slightly better thermals than the adapted AMD stock cooler. It fits perfectly but seems expensive for the slight improvements.
