Santa Fe, Bogotá’s most infamous neighborhood, is a place filled with contrasts—danger, poverty, resilience, and hope. To truly understand its story, I created a four-part series documenting my journey into its streets. This series dives deep into the struggles and strength of the people living there, shedding light on a part of Bogotá many are too afraid to explore. This series was a challenge both emotionally and mentally, as I navigated an area filled with crime, urban decay, and heart-wrenching realities. Yet, it was also a journey of growth, as I pushed past fear to document the resilience and humanity often overlooked in neighborhoods like this. In each video, I aimed to show more than just the surface of Santa Fe—I wanted to tell the stories of those who live there, while also reflecting on how communities like this can teach us about survival, compassion, and the realities of urban life. Whether you’re curious about Bogotá or seeking lessons on the dualities of urban decay and hope, this series offers insights that will challenge and inspire. Start your journey with the first video in the series, Exploring the Dark Streets of Santa Fe, Bogota: A Journey Through Danger, Poverty, and Hope.
