Welcome, or welcome back to, Putting Down Routes! A few weeks ago before van life well and truly commenced, we took an extra special trip on the TranzAlpine train between Christchurch and Greymouth! The trip was amazing and such a treat- the 5 hour journey took us through Arthur’s Pass National Park and Moana, past rolling mountains, gorges and lakes. The cafe serviced excelled food and drinks and all of the staff were so lovely, we truly felt so welcomed and appreciated on board. At $210 one way this trip is not cheap, however we’d recommend it if you’re short on time and want to have the opportunity to see more of New Zealand whilst travelling than flying between places would offer. There are also occasional discounts on select routes so do check the website or use this link to book your tickets: If you have any questions about the journey before you book, then we’d be happy to answer them😊 Thank you so much for watching, do like this video and subscribe if you haven’t already for more videos just like this one! Have a wonderful day, E & T x
