This is a brief look at Assistens Cemetery in Copenhagen. I went there to find the grave sites of some people I found interesting, especially scientists of note. It is a beautiful park area as well as a cemetery. I noted the gravesites of: - Thomas Bugge (Astronomer) - Martin Vahl (Botanist and Zoologist) - Peter Abildgaard (Doctor and Veterinarian) - Hans Christian Andersen (Writer) - Niels Bohr (Physicist) - Hans Christian Orsted (Physicist) - Soren Kierkgaard (Philosopher) - Henry Heerup (Artist) - Friedrich Kuhlau (Composer) I also included Ole Romer (Scientist) whose tomb is found in Copenhagen Cathedral. Not everybody famous, but just a few of the many people I managed to locate.
